Role Description The Contract Administrator is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, NSW. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining contracts and related documentation throughout the contract lifecycle. Day-to-day tasks include supporting contract negotiations, coordinating approvals, monitoring contract performance and compliance, and maintaining accurate records in contract management systems.
The Contract
Administrator will liaise with internal teams and external suppliers, assist with procurement processes, track key dates and obligations, and help resolve contract-related issues. The role requires close collaboration with finance, legal, and operations to ensure contracts are aligned with business objectives, risk management practices, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Contract Negotiation and Communication skills to engage stakeholders, clarify requirements, and support favorable outcomes.
- Candidates should possess Contract Management and Procurement skills to administer agreements, manage supplier relationships, and support sourcing activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review terms, assess risks, interpret data, and prepare reports on contract performance.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and documentation accurately.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with contract management software and standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, document management systems). Jobpac and Procore.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of basic commercial, legal, and compliance principles relevant to contracts and procurement.
- Candidates should possess the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work independently with minimal supervision.
- A relevant qualification in Business, Law, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in contract administration, is beneficial.
