We are seeking an experienced Contractor Physiotherapist to join the team at Kinesis Healthcare in Werribee, Wyndham and Greater Geelong region, VIC. This is a contract position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Contractor Physiotherapist, you will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population in their home or community setting, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and recovery goals.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Delivering hands-on physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to optimise outcomes
- Providing patient education on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programmes
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Contributing to the development and implementation of physiotherapy protocols and best practice standards
- Supporting clinical supervision and mentoring of junior staff as required
What we're looking for
- Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in physiotherapy practice
- Strong clinical knowledge and competency in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centred care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using clinical assessment tools and outcome measures
- Knowledge of current evidence-based physiotherapy practice and research
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Preferred: Experience in rehabilitation settings or community health services
- Valid Australian driver's licence and your own vehicle
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Valid ABN (or willing to obtain one)
- Own professional indemnity and public liability insurance
