We're on the hunt for a passionate cook or chef to join the kitchen at Hello Harry St Kilda, a purpose built burger & beer restaurant with a brand that's genuinely different from the generic chains.
Everything we serve is handmade, sourced from local suppliers and prepared fresh in store daily. Quality, cleanliness and consistency are non negotiables for us, but so is having fun while we do it. The Role
- Prepare and cook our handmade burgers and comfort food to spec, every time
- Follow our recipes and kitchen standards so every plate is consistent
- Help train and guide junior kitchen staff on standards and procedures
- Keep calm and work fast during busy peak service periods
- Support stock control: daily ordering, stock rotation and weekly stocktakes
- Follow food handling, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times
- Keep the kitchen brigade clean, organised and running like clockwork
- Bring ideas to the table for monthly specials
- Get comfortable with our docket and ordering systems (Bump it and Lightspeed)
