Brew & Bite Maitland is a growing café committed to delivering high-quality food and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a permanent full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present a variety of breakfast, lunch and café menu items to a consistently high standard.
- Assist with menu preparation and daily food production.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes, quality standards and customer requirements.
- Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and comply with food safety regulations.
- Assist with ordering, receiving and rotating stock to minimise waste.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.




- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills and Experience Required

- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- At least three years of highly relevant work experience.
- Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
