About the Role

As our Maintenance & General Hand, you will own the yard and keep our equipment, vehicles and deliveries moving. You will prepare and deliver the hydraulic jacks, trailers and gear our install crews rely on, run errands and supplier pickups, and handle minor mechanical repairs and vehicle upkeep. It is a hands-on, no-two-days-the-same role, and a new position we have created because keeping the yard running properly keeps our crews building.

Key Responsibilities

- •Yard operations: load, prepare and organize hydraulic jacks, trailers and equipment ready for site.
- •Site deliveries: deliver and collect jacks and gear to and from our project sites so crews stay on site building.
- •Errands and supplier runs: pickups and deliveries of tools,



parts and sundry items, including taking tools for repair.
- •Minor mechanical repairs: upkeep and small repairs on jacks, trailers, plant and equipment, keeping gear reliable and site-ready.
- •Vehicle upkeep: coordinate services, tyres and registration checks across the vehicle fleet.

What We’re Looking For

- •Practical and mechanically minded – you can pull something apart, work out what’s wrong and fix it
- •Comfortable driving and happy on the road – a current driver’s license is essential; a trailer or MR license is a bonus
- •Organized and reliable – when a crew needs their jacks on site Monday morning, they’re there
- •A self-starter who spots what needs doing without being asked
- •Safety-minded around plant, loads and lifting equipment
- •Forklift ticket an advantage, or we’ll help you get one
