About the Role
As an Analyst at Affinity, you will be part of a team assisting in the research, execution and administration of our transactions. You will work closely with our Associates to ensure our clients receive first class and timely advice, whilst being exposed to some of the most innovative transactions in Australia.
Your primary role will be to assist in undertaking asset due diligence, thematic research and financial analysis. Whilst Affinity is committed to ongoing training, professional development and career development, you will have experience in modelling and production of presentations and information packs.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in due diligence processes and other workstreams associated with selecting our investments and our clients
- Preparation of industry and financial analysis to determine investment opportunities
- Ongoing surveillance and internal reporting of assets held on the Company watch list
- Production of sector research aligned with Affinity’s key themes
- Market intelligence: analysis of competitors, industry participants, and valuation comparatives
- Preparation of pitch books, IM’s, management presentations and other transaction marketing materials
- Financial modelling and transaction analysis
About You
- A collaborative team player who excels in a dynamic workplace, with a strong emphasis on organisation and proactivity
- High attention to detail in all areas of analysis and communication
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely to individuals at all levels and produce high-quality written documentation
- Highly organised and efficient with a talent for managing multiple deadlines
- Strong financial modelling skills and experience with industry software such as Bloomberg, Preqin or Pitchbook
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar role, ideally in investment banking or corporate finance.
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Finance are preferred, CA’s are also welcome to apply
