About the role

Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a Full Time Security Officer to join our business and work for a very well-known Global client in NSW.

The Corporate Security Officer must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security License are encouraged to apply.

Locations: Moorooka, QLD

We have a full time position with rotational day and night shifts- 0600-1800, 1800-0600

Key Tasks





- Provide a security service in line with the site SOP’s and customer requirements in order to protect the customer’s employees, property and other assets.
- Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
- Deliver a consistently high-end, accurate and discreet Security-focused hosting experience to all visitors, guests and employees at the designated site(s).
- Ensure the safety and protection of customer’s people, property and information always, in a knowledgeable and service-oriented manner, ensuring an unobtrusive and comfortable environment.
- Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Securitas, promoting a positive image of our customer always.
- Deal with queries from the public, customers/visitors and employees.

Minimum Requirements

- Must have a valid Security License
- Ability to uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work independently, self -aware, motivated as well as part able to work as part of the team
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be proactive, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality
- Experience in a concierge/hosting/customer facing role
- Previous security environment experience and/or security awareness training
