Cost Controller / Analyst - Asset Maintenance

NSW | Circa $180,000 + Bonus + Super + Relocation | Permanent Concentis is proud to be partnering exclusively with one of the world's leading gold and copper mining companies to source a Cost Controller/Analyst for one of their flagship Australian operations, based near NSW.

Following an internal restructure, our client is seeking an experienced Analyst/Cost Controller to join their well-established Asset Maintenance team on a long-term, permanent basis.

Reporting to a highly regarded Maintenance Manager, you will work closely with supervisors, planners and engineers across the Asset Maintenance function, playing a key role in linking financial performance with maintenance and reliability outcomes.

Your strong financial acumen, analytical mindset and confident communication style will set you up to make an immediate impact. Your experience managing large maintenance budgets, turning SAP and Power BI data into actionable insights, and partnering effectively with operational stakeholders will be central to driving continuous improvement across the site.

Your core competencies will include:

- Developing, managing and forecasting large OPEX and CAPEX budgets




- Analysing cost performance, investigating variances and delivering accurate financial forecasts
- Using SAP, Power BI and Excel to build dashboards and reports that generate actionable insights and improve business performance
- Working closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Operations and Finance teams
- Identifying trends, cost drivers and opportunities to improve asset performance and financial outcomes
- Understanding how maintenance, asset management and financial performance interact within a complex operational environment
