As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an analytical and commercially minded Cost & Forecast Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business decisions through forecasting, costing, reporting and data analysis while working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement and Operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Services Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate forecasting, product costing and master data that supports operational and commercial decision-making across the business. You'll help improve forecast accuracy, support our monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) process and provide meaningful insights that drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Preparing and maintaining monthly demand forecasts
- Analysing sales trends and business data to improve forecasting accuracy
- Supporting the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) process
- Maintaining Bills of Materials (BoM) and product costing information
- Reviewing product costs and identifying cost trends and opportunities
- Maintaining ERP master data accuracy
- Monitoring inventory planning parameters including EOQ and minimum stock levels
- Producing reports and commercial analysis to support business decisions
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data and solving problems. You'll be highly organised, detail-focused and confident communicating insights to stakeholders across the business.
You'll ideally bring
- Experience in forecasting, planning, costing, commercial or supply chain analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using ERP systems (Pronto or similar preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Highly regarded:
- Experience within manufacturing or FMCG
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BoM) and product costing
- Experience supporting S&OP; processes
- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- Experience with business intelligence or data visualisation tools.
