This role will be responsible for assisting in the Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV) of equipment in a quality driven environment as part of a diverse and energetic team within specialised pharmaceutical and research facilities.
Under the supervision of the Head of Innovation, Infrastructure and Process this role may include:
- Assistance with commissioning, qualification and validation of specialised production and analytical laboratory equipment and laboratory infrastructure.
- In compliance with internal quality standards, the drafting and execution of quality and technical documentation related to the Installation, Operation, and Performance of equipment and infrastructure.
- In conjunction with external contractors, performing equipment maintenance and operational troubleshooting.
- Providing guidance and support to production and quality control staff in the operation of equipment and systems.
- Occasional interstate travel may be required.
ABOUT YOU: The successful candidate will require:
- A relevant degree qualification (Engineering, or similar), or possess relevant prior work experience in cGMP facilities as a CQV technician.
- Knowledge and understanding of CQV activities along with I/O/PQ expectations in cGMP facilities.
- The ability to hold an EPA NSW S12 Radiation Licence for calibration and quality assurance purposes.
The successful candidate will be assessed on their:
- Knowledge and experience working within an equipment commissioning, quality and validation framework in a scientific laboratory setting.
- Ability to write and execute CQV-related documentation in a clear and accurate manner.
- Ability to display innovative thinking and task independence under the direction of the Head of Innovation, Infrastructure and Process.
- Ability to verbally communicate clearly and effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to demonstrate work practices that prioritise quality, safety and team collaboration.
