The role of Crew member Construction, you will work as part of a skilled and supportive team in the successful completion of a wide range of construction and maintenance works across the Central Coast.

This role is physically active, outdoors and suited to someone who enjoys practical work, variety, and being part of a team that takes pride in delivering quality outcomes for the community.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- a current Class C Drivers Licence
- a valid Construction General Induction Card - NSW SafeWork or equivalent
- a current Traffic Controller licence or willingness to obtain
- a current Safe Work near Overhead Power Lines licence or willingness to obtain
- demonstrated experience in construction works, preferably in the sector of roads and drainage
- the ability to operate minor plant and equipment associated with construction works
- experience in concrete construction works including formwork, steel fixing and finishing




- a solid work ethic and willingness to undertake physical, hands-on labouring work

Offer Details The commencing salary for this position is up to $66k per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $76.5k on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation + $20.29 per week working allowance

- We have two permanent full-time roles available
- This role will be able to access a 9-day fortnight
- This role is located at the Council's Charmhaven and Erina Works Depots
