About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join our client's busy manufacturing business. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and providing outstanding service to both customers and internal stakeholders.

Working closely with the Sales, Production, Dispatch and Administration teams, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, order processing, freight coordination and supporting various departments as required.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently using the AccountRight (MYOB) system.
- Entering sales orders and maintaining customer records.
- Monitoring and following up customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
- Liaising with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules and product enquiries.
- Coordinating with the Dispatch team to ensure orders are shipped on time.
- Organising and tracking freight and delivery requirements.
- Investigating and resolving customer queries, delivery issues and product concerns.
- Providing exceptional customer service via phone and email.
- Assisting the Sales, Production and Administration teams with day-to-day operational requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and business processes.
- General administrative duties as required.

Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a Customer Service Officer,



Customer Service Representative or similar role.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial or distribution environment is highly regarded.
- Experience using MYOB AccountRight or similar ERP/order processing systems.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.

What We Offer

- Permanent full-time position.
- Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm
- Competitive salary package of $75,000 - $80,000.
