Role Description The Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a part-time position supporting the club’s initiatives through data-driven insights. This hybrid role is based in Sydney, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility for tasks that can be done remotely.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and organizing membership, event, and engagement data, performing basic data analytics and statistical analysis, and building simple data models to understand trends and outcomes. The role also involves preparing transparent reports and visual summaries for the committee, supporting decision-making for events and partnerships, and communicating findings in a concise, understandable manner.

The Data

Analyst will collaborate with other members to improve club operations and evaluate the impact of club activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational Analytical Skills and Data Analytics abilities




- Basic understanding of Statistics and statistical reasoning
- Ability to perform simple Data Modeling for insights and trend analysis
- Effective Communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and/or analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, basic BI tools) is beneficial
- Interest in asset and wealth management and willingness to learn about the finance industry
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field is an advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively in a student-led environment and manage part-time responsibilities alongside academic or other commitments
