TTI is partnering with a consulting and delivery team building a governed reporting service . It’s a Fabric-first build in a regulated environment. C orrectness, auditability and lineage matter as much as speed.
We’re in the build phase and need a senior data engineer who genuinely lives and breathes Microsoft Fabric to own the data foundation and the governed data products the reporting service depends on.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the Microsoft Fabric build across Lakehouse + Warehouse (medallion/bronze-silver-gold)
- Design and implement the gold models where statutory calculations run (SQL + DAX)
- Build and maintain governed assets (a register/glossary that ties every metric to its rule, lineage and validity date )
- Ingest/curate data (incl. Dataverse Link to Fabric ) with validation, reconciliation and data quality controls
- Implement security and identity: Entra ID
-
row-level security (user sees only what they’re entitled to)
- Run platform engineering: capacity performance/cost (F32) , CI/CD with Azure DevOps , monitoring/audit with Azure Monitor/Key Vault
- Partner closely with orchestration and Power BI reporting streams so data products publish cleanly as governed assets
What we’re looking for
- Solid hands-on Fabric experience (not “exposed to it”) across Lakehouse/Warehouse and modelling
- Confidence with SQL + DAX in governed reporting environments
- Solid engineering discipline: CI/CD, observability, security, and data quality
Nice to have
- Workato (or similar integration platforms), Purview, public sector/statutory reporting exposure
