About the role

Horizon Pro Dental is a local, family-owned dental and denture clinic in Woodside. We greet patients respectfully, prepare rooms properly, explain next steps clearly, keep instruments and records ready, and keep appointments running smoothly.

Experience is helpful, but it is not the main thing we are hiring for. We can teach clinical flow, chairside support, sterilisation and room preparation. What matters most is focus, communication, reliability and the drive to do the job properly every day.

What you will learn and do

- Learn chairside assisting, room setup, sterilisation, patient flow and handovers
- Work with clear systems and direct feedback
- Prepare properly before patients arrive
- Ask early when something is unclear
- Build real clinical experience with a team that will teach the right person

What you'll be doing

- Providing chairside support to dentists and practitioners
- Preparing clinical rooms, instruments, materials, laboratory forms, and equipment
- Supporting patient flow to help appointments run smoothly and on time
- Assisting with reception duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments,



and responding to enquiries
- Following up with patients regarding treatment, appointments, recalls, and outstanding actions
- Following sterilisation, infection-control, and clinical-room procedures
- Keeping clinical and reception areas clean, safe, stocked, and ready
- Maintaining accurate patient records and providing clear handovers to the wider team
- Greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient inquiries and concerns
