Distinct Dental Centre, a leading dental practice in North Strathfield NSW 2137, is seeking a full time/part-time Dental Receptionist and a full-time/part-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our practice, providing exceptional customer service to our patients while assisting our dentists with clinical duties.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient inquiries with a courteous and professional manner
- Assisting dentists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and providing chairside support
- Maintaining accurate patient records, updating files, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently
- Ordering and stocking dental supplies, ensuring the practice is well-equipped to meet patient needs
- Contributing to the overall smooth running of the dental practice and providing a positive experience for our patients
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant within a dental or healthcare setting (minimum 1 year of experience is required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly,
skilled, and empathetic manner
- A warm, positive attitude with a passion for patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using dental practice management software (D4W) and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
