Workfast is recruiting on behalf of a leading Australian supplier of cement, lime and dry blended products that supports major construction, mining and infrastructure projects nationwide.

We're looking for an experienced Depot Coordinator to join their team in a permanent, full-time position across Yatala and Darra yards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical background who enjoys leading day-to-day operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

- $90,000 - $100,000 + Super
- Monday to Friday roster
- Standard hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Please note: As the Depot Coordinator, you'll oversee depot operations and will be the key contact for operational issues. This role may require you to be available for urgent site matters outside normal working hours, including occasional weekend support. The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the depot while ensuring safety, productivity and customer service standards are maintained.

Your responsibilities will include

- Coordinating daily depot operations
- Managing the movement of equipment and materials
- Liaising with drivers, contractors and customers
- Scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities
- Assisting with troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues




- Maintaining safety and environmental compliance
- Supporting and coordinating depot personnel
- Responding to operational issues and ensuring minimal downtime

About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- A mechanical trade qualification or strong mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience in a depot, manufacturing, transport, logistics or heavy industrial setting
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
