The Role:
DKO is seeking a talented Front-End Design Architect to join our Perth studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a design-focused Architect with strong Australian project experience and a passion for creating exceptional multi-residential and mixed-use developments. Working alongside a highly regarded design team, you’ll play a key role in feasibility studies, concept design and design development on complex, high-profile projects across Perth and beyond.
- Contribute to feasibility, concept design and design development phases of projects
- Develop innovative architectural design solutions across multi-residential and mixed-use projects
- Prepare presentation material, design narratives and client presentations
- Collaborate with Project Leaders, consultants and internal design teams
- Participate in design workshops, client meetings and project reviews
- Assist in the coordination of planning and development approval submissions
- Support the delivery of high-quality architectural outcomes aligned with DKO’s design standards
- Maintain a strong understanding of local planning controls and design requirements
About You:
- Degree-qualified Architect or Graduate Architect
- Experience working on Australian multi-residential projects is essential
- Solid front-end design capability with exposure to concept design and design development
- Ability to communicate and present design ideas effectively
- Strong design and graphic presentation skills
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred but not required
- Understanding of local planning frameworks and development processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Passion for architecture, urban design and creating high-quality places
