Development Team Lead

Melbourne | Hybrid | Permanent

We're seeking a hands-on Development Team Lead to support and enhance a complex enterprise application environment during a period of significant business transformation.

This is a technical leadership role with approximately 60% hands-on development, combined with vendor management, architecture oversight, stakeholder engagement, and governance uplift. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external development partners, driving application improvements, reducing technical debt, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Hands-on development, support, bug fixing and application enhancements.
- Lead technical design and architecture across enterprise applications and integrations.
- Manage third-party development partners and integration vendors.
- Improve governance, development standards, documentation and processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver practical technology solutions.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across the applications team.

About You
- Strong background in Microsoft application development.
- Experience leading technical teams and external vendors.
- Comfortable operating autonomously and wearing multiple hats.
- Solid architecture, integration and stakeholder management experience.
- Manufacturing, logistics or supply chain industry experience highly regarded.
