Our client is a leading player in their industry, looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer/SME to join their team and drive their DevSecOps practices to new heights.
As a DevSecOps Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the DevSecOps strategy. You will work closely with multiple teams across various projects, leveraging your expertise to build and maintain robust pipelines and ensure the seamless integration of security throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Work horizontally across multiple teams and projects to champion DevSecOps practices.
- Lead the building and maintenance of pipelines, serving as an expert resource for project teams.
- Provide coaching and training to empower engineers in adopting DevSecOps tooling and practices.
- Collaborate with global teams to address challenges and drive continuous improvement in the DevSecOps framework.
- Take ownership of application security, including onboarding, automation, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within the framework,
working through problems with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in DevSecOps practices, with hands-on expertise in relevant tooling
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tooling, including Azure DevOps orchestration, JFrog, Sonar, Fortify, Kubernetes and Selenium.
- End-to-end experience setting up pipelines and hands on experince with cicd, devsecops architecture, design and optimization
- Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred, but AWS experience will also be considered.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
