KG Mechanical Services Pty Ltd is a leading Cairns based, locally owned marine company. We currently have multiple positions available and are seeking 2X trade qualified Diesel Fitters, 1X Workshop Storeman to join us for a full time, immediate start.

Diesel Fitter duties:

You will service and maintain:

- Commercial vessels.
- Private vessels.
- Super yachts.
- Industrial engines.
- Diesel genset's.

Workshop Storeman duties:

- Receiving and dispatching parts.
- Pick up and delivery of local parts.
- Stock control.
- Receipting of all parts and stock into computer system.

Diesel Fitters requirements:

- To possess robust diagnostic skills, have great communication and demonstrate good housekeeping.
- Ability to work onsite, autonomously and after hours as required.
- Away from home and remote work will be required on occasion.
- Previous experience in the marine industry will be an advantage but not required.




- Experience with Yanmar engines and marine transmissions an advantage.
- Must be able to perform overtime and weekend work in peak periods.
- White card required.
- Must have a minimum of a current C class licence.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.

Workshop Storeman requirements:

- High risk licence ( Forklift ) is a must.
- C class licence is a must.
- White card required.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.

Diesel Fitters will receive:
