Your new role:

As the Senior Dietitian within Cancer Services, you'll provide expert nutrition care for patients with complex needs while working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. You'll combine advanced clinical practice with leadership, education and quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes and help shape the future of cancer nutrition services. In this role, you will:

Deliver advanced, evidence-based nutrition assessment, intervention and ongoing management for patients receiving cancer care.

Provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to dietitians, students and allied health assistants.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centred care, discharge planning and service delivery.

Lead and contribute to quality improvement, clinical education, research and the development of evidence-based practice.

About you:

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative clinician who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You'll bring:

Advanced clinical expertise in oncology or complex acute nutrition and dietetics practice.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

Leadership and mentoring capability, supporting the development of colleagues, students and service excellence.

A commitment to continuous improvement, with experience in quality improvement, evidence-based practice or research initiatives.

About us:

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a secure clinical environment.

We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
