To ensure the efficient and productive management of day to day operational service delivery with NHVR service users is delivered through a high standard of customer service and responsiveness. Manage accreditation, access permit applications and other transactional operational processes, both current and future for the NHVR.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the planning, management and the delivery of safe, efficient and integrated heavy vehicle access and accreditation operations that supports sustainable economic, social and environmental outcomes nationally
- Build strong strategic relationships with enforcement partners, other government agencies and industry to ensure optimum heavy vehicle productivity outcomes are achieved.
- Work with internal, industry and jurisdictional stakeholders to identify, develop and implement innovative demand management service delivery strategies to ensure the NHVR delivers a cost effective service to its customers, the heavy vehicle industry, and our government partners.
- Provide high quality strategic advice, analysis, information and guidance to executive management, and the Board,
regarding current and future industry productivity issues and developments and potential implications to organisational policies and strategic plans.
- Provide leadership to staff, clients and others in the achievement of difficult and sometimes conflicting objectives, model qualified and ethical behaviour, even in times of crisis, and exemplify personal drive and integrity.
- Develop and maintain a positive workplace culture that is in alignment with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s values.
- Resolve complex operational and strategic issues with innovative solutions that are consistent with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s objectives and national heavy vehicle reform policy.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered for internal and external clients within a quality and risk management framework.
- Ensure all risks within your area of control are captured, assessed and appropriately controlled in accordance with the NHVR risk management framework.
