Make a Positive Impact Every Day The Disability Empowerment and Support Foundation (DESF) is currently seeking compassionate, motivated, and energetic female Disability Support Workers to join a dedicated support team within our Supported Independent Living (SIL) home.

This role is suited to support workers who are encouraging, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about empowering people living with disability to build independence, confidence, and meaningful lives.

We are looking for staff who bring positivity into the home environment and who genuinely enjoy building strong, respectful relationships with participants.

About the Role

This is more than just a support role, we are looking for people who can create a warm, empowering, and engaging home workplace.

You will be supporting participants with:

- Daily living skills
- Community access and social engagement
- Building confidence and independence
- Encouragement with routines and goals
- Emotional support and positive engagement
- Personal care and household assistance where required
- Supporting participants to live fulfilling and meaningful lives The ideal candidate will bring a calm, uplifting,



and motivating presence into the home.

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Modules - Orientation, Induction, Secure and Enjoyable Meals and Effective Communication
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Manual Handling
- Medication Competency
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Working rights within Australia
- Experience in Disability, Aged Care, Community Services or a related field (desirable)
