Female Support Worker – Waterloo, NSW

Halo Health Support is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Female Support Worker to support a participant in Waterloo, NSW and surrounding suburbs.

Position Details

- Location: Waterloo, NSW and surrounding suburbs
- Employment type: Casual / Part-Time
- Shifts: Adaptable availability, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Pay: $26.44–$57.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, shift and applicable employment conditions

About You We are looking for someone who is:
- Female, with late 20s to 30s preferred for peer compatibility
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional
- Experienced in providing person-centred disability support
- Confident communicating with participants, families, and other support professionals
- Flexible and available across a range of shifts
- Comfortable supporting community access and appointments

Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the disability sector
- Current Full Australian Driver Licence
- Own reliable, registered vehicle with appropriate insurance
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain one




- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Relevant disability support qualifications are highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care
- Support community access, appointments, and recreational activities
- Safely transport the participant to local outings and appointments
- Encourage independence and participation in the community
- Provide respectful, person-centred support
- Build a positive, safe, and supportive relationship with the participant
- Follow individual support plans and workplace policies
