Kirinari is a highly reputable and respected disability support service providing essential care and high-quality support to enrich the lives of our customers.

About The Position Are you passionate about Mental Health? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a unique hybrid role, supporting clients across both Mental Health and Disability services. This position offers the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges as well as those living with disabilities, providing tailored support that promotes independence, resilience, and an improved quality of life.

We provide quality 24/7 care in our supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes) ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our customers. You will provide direct support across a range of customer needs including, domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.

Job Details Qualification Requirement: Cert 3 in Disability / Individual Support

Minimum 2 years' experience supporting clients with mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, PTSD) Medication management

Skills: Clear Communication, Proactive Approach, Leadership and Resilience

Expected Hours:



24:7 roster including overnight support. Minimum availability 2 sleepovers per fortnight and one of the two weekends a fortnight

Required Licenses/Certifications: Full Driving Licence, Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening We currently have a position on offer with flexible start dates.

About You

Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays (including Christmas, Boxing and New Years days) with significant availability

Ability to undertake tasks detailed in customers Behavior Support Plan

Understanding of trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour support

Understanding of Mental Health First Aid practices

Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team

Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships

Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement

Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs

Smart Phone
