About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 care to a participant The participant requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, light domestic duties, transportation, and social & community access.

This is a rewarding role for someone with a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. The role involves short shifts in the morning and afternoon, providing flexible support while making a meaningful difference in the participant’s daily life.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care (toileting, showering, grooming, and hygiene assistance)
- Support with daily living activities and maintaining independence
- Assist with meal preparation, light household tasks, and cleaning
- Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
- Offer companionship and emotional support




- Work collaboratively with the participant, their family, and the care team

About You You are a caring and empathetic individual with strong communication skills. You treat others with dignity and respect, and you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people living with disability.

Qualifications & Requirements

✅ Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent

✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)

✅ NDIS Worker Orientation Module

✅ Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

✅ Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

✅ National Police Check

✅ Working With Children Check

✅ Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community care or nursing
