We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our casual workforce in Bendigo
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living with disability, helping them achieve greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.
This rewarding role involves supporting participants in daily living activities while building positive relationships and promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support to participants living with disability
Assist with personal care and daily living activities
Support participants with community access and social engagement
Assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and daily routines
Administer medication in line with care plans and organisational procedures
Follow behaviour support plans and individual care plans
Complete accurate shift notes and incident reporting documentation
Maintain professional boundaries and provide person-centred care
Follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Essential Requirements
Qualifications & Licences
Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
Current First Aid Certificate – Apply First Aid
Current CPR Certificate – Perform CPR
Current VIC Driver’s Licence (Class C)
Reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
Clearances & Compliance
NDIS Worker Screening Check
VIC Working With Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Check
Compulsory Reporting – Child Abuse certification
Disability Worker Acknowledgement Form
Motor Vehicle Usage Acknowledgement Form
Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccinations
Experience
Minimum 6 months recent paid experience in disability support, residential care, or community services
