About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Dockhand to join our Wagga Wagga, NSW team in a permanent part-time position, 20h/week.

This hands-on role is responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, preparing shipments for dispatch, assisting with warehouse operations, and ensuring freight moves efficiently through the depot.

Working hours: Monday to Friday roster 4:30am – 8:30am

What You'll Do

Manually handle and sort parcel freight onto the conveyor system for processing ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently

Accurately sort parcel freight into designated freight cages and delivery runs

Conduct residential parcel deliveries as required, providing a professional and customer-focused service

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment through regular housekeeping and cleaning activities

Work collaboratively with the operations team to meet daily service, safety, and performance requirements

Assist with general warehouse, dock, and freight handling duties as required

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational standards to ensure a safe workplace for all employees

What You'll Bring

Previous experience in freight handling, warehousing, logistics, or a similar operational environment is preferred.

Current C Class Driver's Licence required

Forklift (LF) licence desirable but not essential.

Ability to work in a physically demanding role involving repetitive lifting, manual handling,



and standing for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and a safety-first mindset.
