Our client is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter for a FIFO opportunity at Gudai-Darri. This field-based role requires strong CAT 6250 and CAT 6310 drill maintenance experience, excellent fault-finding capability, and the ability to work independently in a safety-focused mining environment.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on drilling equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults on CAT 6250 and CAT 6310 drill fleets
- Change feed cylinders and remove drill booms as required
- Conduct inspections and component replacements
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures
- Work autonomously across the operation to minimise equipment downtime
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to achieve production targets
Profile To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Trade Certificate III in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Mechanical Trade, or equivalent
- Minimum 4-5 years' experience as a Drill Fitter within mining operations
- Proven experience working on CAT 6250 and CAT 6310 drill rigs (essential)
- Current Manual C Class Driver's Licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience changing feed cylinders and removing drill booms
- Ability to work independently in a field service environment
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence
- Ability to pass site medical and pre-employment checks
