About The Opportunity Mining Skills Australia (MSA) is expanding our training team and we’re seeking experienced, proactive, and adaptable Dump Truck Trainers to support the development of new-to-industry operators—particularly women entering the mining sector.
This role is ideal for trainers who value productivity, safety, teamwork, and inclusive training environments. You will play a key part in delivering safe, hands-on operator training while fostering confidence, capability, and strong safety behaviours in current operators.
What We Are Looking For/Mandatory Qualifications
- Deliver practical, in-cab rear dump truck training and assessments.
- Provide coaching and support for new-to-industry female operators.
- Promote safety awareness and strong behavioural standards.
- Contribute to an inclusive, supportive team culture.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Support day-to-day operational training needs across load & haul.
Mandatory Qualifications Required To be eligible for these positions you must hold:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Current RII qualifications and relevant machine competencies.
- CAT 789/793-D/F experience (highly regarded).
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on dump truck operating experience.
- Experience delivering operator training, step-up training, or refresher training.
- Ability to document and maintain accurate training records.
- Robust communication and presentation skills.
- Basic computer literacy (PCs, tablets, Android devices).
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Frontrunner qualifications/experience (advantageous).
