About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Duty Manager is responsible for leading venue operations across gaming, bars, dining and functions while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading daily venue operations across multiple departments
- Supervising, coaching and supporting frontline team members
- Ensuring compliance with Liquor & Gaming legislation and Club policies
- Managing cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-shift reporting
- Responding to customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting the successful delivery of promotions, events and functions
- Maintaining high presentation, service and operational standards throughout the venue
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, supporting their team and creating outstanding customer experiences. About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager within a club, hotel or gaming workplace
- Current RSA and ARCG qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Liquor & Gaming compliance requirements
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- The confidence to make decisions and remain calm under pressure
