At Beachwood Early Learning and Kindergarten, we’ve created something truly special for our children, families, and team. We're a proud family owned and operated centre offering play based educational programs in a beautiful, purpose-built environment that is safe, supportive, and inspiring.

Embracing our stunning coastal location, our ‘Out and About’ and ‘Beach to Bush’ programs offer children rich, hands-on learning experiences in their local community, including visits to the local beach, wetlands and parks.

Since opening our 100-place centre in January 2022, we've built a strong, dedicated team, many of whom have been with us from the beginning. Our 6 light filled classrooms cater to children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten, with room sizes ranging from a 12-place nursery to a 22-place Kindergarten.

We’re proud to have achieved an Exceeding Rating in all 7 Quality Areas and are passionate about forming strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and our team. Beachwood is proudly a child safe service and remains deeply committed to providing to a child-safe environment, where every child’s health, safety, and wellbeing is our top priority.

About the Role

We’re seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our amazing team, supporting children across all learning environments including Nursery, Toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten, and both 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten programs.

We currently have a full-time 12-month fixed-term maternity leave position available, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role, as well as opportunities to join our permanent team. In your position you will be supported by your room leader and team, as well as our extended support network including Centre Director, Assistant Directors and Educational Leaders!

- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or currently studying)
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis & CPR (preferred)
- Sound understanding of the EYLF & NQF
- Strong communication & teamwork skills
- A passion for early childhood education
- Strong understanding of mandatory reporting obligations and commitment to ensuring children’s health and safety is paramount
- Fun, positivity, warmth and ability to work as part of a team!
