Ballarat Childcare Co-operative (BCCC) is a 55-place, community-run, not-for-profit early learning service that has been supporting Ballarat families for over 40 years. Due to continued growth, we are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team across a variety of employment arrangements, across full-time, part time and casual positions, including one fixed term maternity leave

About the Role

As an Educator at BCCC, you'll work alongside a supportive and experienced team to provide nurturing, engaging and play-based learning experiences that support every child's development.

You'll be part of a collaborative workplace where your ideas are valued, your professional growth is encouraged, and children are always at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Create safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
- Support the planning, implementation and reflection of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Observe and document children's learning and development.




- Promote children's wellbeing, health and safety at all times.
- Work collaboratively with educators, leadership and families to achieve the best outcomes for every child.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful and supportive team culture.
- Uphold the National Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards and all relevant legislation and service policies.

What We're Looking For We welcome applications from educators who have:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved qualification).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain where applicable).
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to creating safe, inclusive and engaging environments for all children.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Child Safe Standards.
- Experience or understanding of reporting requirements under ACECQA and NQA ITS,).
- Understanding of the Child Safe Standards, Reportable Conduct Scheme, Mandatory Reporting and current Child Safety Reforms.
