Key Responsibilities
- Installation, testing and commissioning of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems
- Configuration and fault finding of:
- o PLC and RTU systems
- o VSDs and Soft Starters
- o Field instrumentation and control devices
- Integration and testing of SCADA and telemetry systems
- Loop checking, I/O verification and commissioning support
- Diagnosing plant and control system faults
- Supporting supervisors and project teams to achieve commissioning and handover milestones
- Maintaining strong safety leadership and WHS compliance onsite
- Completion of commissioning documentation and test records
Preferred Experience
- Industrial E&I; or control systems background
- Experience within Water & Wastewater, Mining, Energy, or Oil & Gas environments
- Commissioning and fault-finding experience
- Strong understanding of industrial control philosophy
- Ability to work autonomously and mentor junior technicians
- Well-developed organisational and documentation skills
- Strong commitment to WHS and quality outcomes
Preferred Qualifications & Licences
- Current Tasmanian Electrical Practitioner Licence
- Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation
- EEHA experience (desirable)
- Commissioning experience highly regarded
- High Risk Work Licence (WP) desirable
- Construction Industry White Card
- First Aid, CPR / LVR
