NewSpark Electrical Solutions is looking for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team.
For this position, attitude comes first.
We are looking for someone with grit, determination and a strong work ethic. Someone who turns up ready to work, wants to learn, isn’t afraid of a hard day’s work and takes pride in getting the job done properly.
You don’t need to know everything — that’s what an apprenticeship is for. But you do need to bring the right attitude every day.
The Role
This is a full-time position working a 4-day week consisting of 10-hour days.
Successful applicants requiring TAFE enrolment will be enrolled into block-release TAFE at the earliest available intake, allowing you to complete your required training in dedicated blocks.
You’ll work alongside experienced electricians and gain hands-on experience across:
- Residential and commercial electrical works
- Level 2 ASP works
- Overhead and underground electrical services
- Private poles and consumer mains
- Switchboard upgrades and replacements
- Fault finding and maintenance
- New installations and renovations
- Testing and commissioning
We undertake a broad range of work, providing the opportunity to develop skills and experience well beyond basic residential electrical.

We are open to applicants looking to commence their 1st year, as well as existing 2nd and 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices. For first-year applicants, previous electrical experience isn’t essential. We would rather employ someone with the right attitude and work ethic who is willing to learn.
