Role Description This is a full time position for a role based in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll take ownership of the design and delivery of substation secondary systems, including protection, control and communications.

You’ll develop and review schematics, wiring diagrams and layouts,



perform design calculations and simulations, and ensure solutions meet client requirements, industry standards and regulatory obligations. Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, contractors and suppliers, you’ll help deliver practical, reliable and high-quality engineering outcomes from design through to construction and commissioning. You’ll also prepare technical documentation and Bills of Materials, undertake design reviews and quality checks, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes.

Beyond project delivery, you’ll have the prospect to share your expertise by mentoring junior engineers and support staff while staying at the forefront of evolving industry standards, technologies and best practices.

Min. Qualifications + Experience

- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in substation design, focusing on secondary systems.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering substation design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of electrical protection and control systems.
- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and other relevant standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
