Our client is a long-established and highly respected electrical services provider delivering maintenance, communications, and infrastructure services across South Australia. Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for an experienced Electrician / Data Technician to join their Engineering Services team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Opportunity

This role offers variety, autonomy, and exposure to a broad range of electrical and communications systems across commercial and industrial environments.

You will work as part of an experienced maintenance team providing electrical services, communications cabling installations, fault-finding, testing, repairs, and breakdown support to a diverse client base throughout South Australia.

About the Project

Working within a specialist maintenance division, you will be responsible for both low-voltage electrical systems and extra-low-voltage communications infrastructure.

Projects include

- Commercial electrical maintenance
- Installation, termination and testing of communications cabling
- Electrical equipment servicing and replacement
- Fault-finding and diagnostics of LV and ELV systems
- Breakdown and call-out support
- Preventative maintenance activities
- Testing and commissioning works
- Assisting with EPM tasks across client facilities

This role may involve occasional regional travel, overnight stays, and participation in an on-call roster. Why Apply?

About You You are an experienced electrician with communications or data experience who enjoys a varied maintenance environment. You take pride in delivering quality outcomes, building client relationships, and working safely while operating independently.

You will bring

- Commercial electrical installation and maintenance experience
- Experience installing, terminating and testing communications cabling
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across LV and ELV systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage assigned tasks effectively
- Robust commitment to safety and workmanship

Tickets Required A-Class Electrical Licence

Open Cablers Registration (preferred)

White Card

LVR/CPR (within 12 months)

First Aid Certificate

Current South Australian Driver's Licence

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
