The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Electrician to join our growing team based from our Dalby workshop, supporting clients across Queensland.

This role offers a diverse mix of work across electrical maintenance, instrumentation, fault finding, commissioning, shutdowns, breakdown response and project work. You'll support clients throughout the Oil & Gas, Mining,



Agricultural and Industrial sectors, working across a broad range of electrical infrastructure, control systems and instrumentation.

You'll be equipped with high-quality tooling, equipment and technology—all provided by Entec—so you can focus on delivering exceptional work. We continually invest in our facilities, resources and innovative ways of working to ensure our team has everything they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems in defined hazardous and non-hazardous locations.
- Install, commission, calibrate and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Complete shutdown,



breakdown and project work across a variety of client sites.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work records accurately.
- Take pride in your workspace by maintaining Entec's tooling, equipment and workshop facilities to the highest standard.
- Champion a proactive safety culture through hazard identification, risk management and compliance with company and client requirements.

Essential Requirements

- Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
- Current unrestricted C Class Driver Licence.
- Ability to travel and work away from home when required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

Highly Regarded But Not Essential

- Certificate IV in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent.
- Experience with hazardous areas (EEHA).
- Experience within Oil & Gas, Mining or heavy industrial environments.
- High Risk Work Licences (EWP, Forklift, Dogging etc.).
