About the Role
AEROLEC PTY LTD is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects while ensuring compliance with all relevant Australian standards and workplace safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and specifications.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Install switchboards, lighting systems, power outlets, circuit breakers and control systems.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure safety and compliance.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Use electrical testing equipment and specialised tools safely and effectively.
- Liaise with clients,
suppliers and other trades to complete projects on time.
- Maintain accurate job records and report completed work.
Essential Requirements
- A relevant trade qualification as an Electrician (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- At least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience as an Electrician (or equivalent part-time experience).
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance and fault-finding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
