Casual role with 2-3 shifts per week for busy season

Great penalty rates working weeknights, weekends and public holidays AES Underwood is looking for experienced Veterinary Nurses to join our casual team during the busy tick paralysis season. If you’re looking to expand your clinical skills, gain exposure to emergency medicine, or simply enjoy the challenge of caring for complex hospital cases, we’d love to hear from you. We’re seeking nurses who can commit to 2–3 shifts per week and support our hospitalised patients throughout this busy period.

There may also be opportunities for ongoing casual shifts beyond the season for the right candidate. As part of our nursing team, you’ll play a vital role in caring for hospitalised patients during one of our busiest times of year. We’re seeking nurses with strong patient care skills and previous experience managing hospital patients.

Experience with tick paralysis cases will be highly regarded, although we also welcome experienced nurses who are keen to further develop their knowledge in emergency and critical care.

Exposure to a wide variety of emergency and critical care cases

Opportunities to develop your knowledge of tick paralysis management and intensive patient care About You To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology A minimum of 2 years’ experience in veterinary nursing

Solid patient care and hospital nursing skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities A calm, adaptable, and proactive approach in a fast-paced environment

Reliable transport and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays What We Offer Above-award wages plus generous penalty rates on most shifts
