Infrastructure Services Adelaide 2 Year Fixed Term Contract | Strong Extension Potential An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Lead to join a major technology transformation supporting the establishment of a new enterprise IT operating model.
This senior operational leadership role is focused on service ownership across a complex infrastructure environment, ensuring operational excellence as the organisation transitions into business as usual operations.
This is not a project delivery role. Instead, you'll provide operational leadership, manage key technology vendors and take ownership of the ongoing performance and support of critical infrastructure services.
The Role You will take ownership of the organisation's infrastructure workplace, partnering with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver stable, secure and high quality IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own operational delivery across network, cloud, server, storage, backup and recovery, end user computing, voice, print and Azure Entra environments
- Manage infrastructure vendors and service partners, ensuring service levels and operational outcomes are achieved
- Lead incident, problem and change management activities
- Drive operational readiness and service acceptance from project into BAU
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities are operational and regularly tested
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks and operational standards
- Work closely with cyber security teams to support vulnerability remediation and operational resilience
- Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement and operational excellence
About You
- Extensive experience leading enterprise infrastructure operations
- Strong vendor management and service delivery experience
- Experience supporting complex enterprise infrastructure environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams
- Strong knowledge of ITIL service management and operational governance
- Experience in complex, highly regulated environments
- A team-oriented leadership style with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
