Role Description This full-time remote role as an Entry Level / Junior / Software Developer at RYG Ingenieria focuses on contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. The developer will assist in implementing back-end web services, writing clean and efficient code, and participating in code reviews under the guidance of more experienced team members.

Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging issues, writing unit tests, documenting technical solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams through virtual meetings and communication tools. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software engineering, following established development workflows, and continuously improving technical skills through mentorship and self-directed study.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and basic software engineering principles.




- Practical skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in real projects.
- Ability to read, write, and maintain explicit, well-documented code and technical documentation.
- Effective remote collaboration skills, including communication, time management, and use of version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in learning new technologies, openness to feedback, and commitment to inclusive, respectful teamwork.
