We are recruiting anEnvironmental Advisor to support the delivery of key projects in Canberra. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll play a critical part in ensuring robust environmental outcomes, regulatory compliance, and positive community engagement throughout project delivery.

About the role
You will support and provide practical, compliant and timely environmental advice across all stages of construction. Your focus will be on supporting implementing and maintaining environmental management systems, supporting project teams, and ensuring compliance with approvals, legislation and client requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing onsite environmental leadership and advice across live construction activities
- Preparing, reviewing and implementing Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), sub-plans and Environmental Work Method Statements
- Supporting compliance with environmental licences, approvals, permits and project conditions
- Conducting inspections, audits and monitoring activities, and supporting corrective actions
- Delivering environmental inductions, toolbox talks and targeted training
