The Opportunity
We're seeking an Workplace Coordinator to support the delivery of our construction projects by providing practical environmental advice, guidance and coordination across the business. Working closely with operational teams and our Safety, Sustainability and Quality (SSQ) team, you'll help ensure projects meet legislative requirements, environmental and sustainability commitments and our high standards of environmental performance. In this varied role you'll support environmental and sustainability planning, undertake site inspections and audits, coordinate environmental and sustainability reporting and contribute to continuous improvement.
You'll also play a key part in building environmental awareness across the business, helping to protect the communities and environments in which we work while supporting the successful delivery of essential infrastructure projects.
You Will Bring
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
Two years experience in an environmental coordination or similar role
Exposure to construction, civil infrastructure or utilities projects
Sound understanding of environmental legislation, compliance and environmental management practices
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
