Stretton State College is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic, reliable and collaborative Cleaners for temporary and casual opportunities for the remainder of the 2026 school year.

Multiple positions are available, including morning and afternoon shift cleaner roles as well as day cleaner roles.

We are looking for people who communicate effectively, demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic, and work positively and collaboratively as part of the Stretton State College team.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months. Step Into Your Next Chapter As a Cleaner, you will contribute to the delivery of a clean, protected and well-maintained school environment by carrying out cleaning duties across classrooms, common areas and school facilities in line with the college's cleaning schedules and standards.

Responsibilities May Include

- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, toilets and communal areas.
- Removing rubbish and recycling.
- Restocking consumables such as soap and paper products,.
- Spot-cleaning spills and mess as they arise.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas in good order.
- Cleaners may also contribute to the health and safety of students and staff by identifying and reporting maintenance issues, following workplace health and safety procedures, and using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
