This is more than a traditional market commentary role. Based in the Sydney CBD Office, this role is ideal for someone who combines technical market expertise with a passion for communication and building up a profile within Australia & Current Zealand’s financial industry.

Role Responsibilities

- Analyse daily market developments, translate complex market events, investment themes and economic trends into clear and balanced insights to be presented to investor individuals and communities.
- Compose engaging commentary on Australian, US and global financial markets, develop educational campaigns that enhance financial literacy and investor confidence.
- With production support and guidance from the Marketing and Content teams, produce engaging daily market content across video, audio and written formats.
- Become a trusted voice to a rapidly growing investor community, represent the company across TV, radio, podcasts, digital & social media channels and live events.
- Respond to media opportunities,



present at client events, investor seminars, webinars and industry forums as a trusted brand ambassador across Australia & New Zealand.

About You

- 5+ years of experience as a Market Strategist, Equity Strategist, Market Analyst or similar financial markets professional.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and US equities, macroeconomics, commodities and broader market drivers.
- Equally comfortable with analysing overnight market movements, recording a morning market update, participating in a live television interview, or presenting to an audience of investors.
- Proven analytical and commercial acumen – able to explain complex financial concepts to a retail investing audience in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Native-level English speaker, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting both on-camera and in person.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline (CFA, CMT or equivalent is highly desirable).
- RG146 compliance and updated understanding of regulatory requirements.
