Run legal cases for clients seeking their entitlement from the estate of their loved ones:
- Investigate and assess family provision and contested probate claims
- Drafting position statements, court pleadings, affidavits, and formal settlement agreements
- Build rapport with clients, deliver pragmatic, objective legal advice to clients navigating highly emotional family dynamics
- Manage and attend mediations and court hearings, draft court orders, and brief and instruct counsel
- Run your files with support from other team members
- Utilise your time management skills, meeting deadlines
Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will have a combination of the following skills:
- 1 to 5 years experience as a Solicitor
- Experience in wills/estates and litigation will be highly regarded
- Prepared to think out of the box, and work as part of a team, and with the Principal
- Be proactive, time focused, and have the ability to work independently
- Aim to deliver top, personalised service, to achieve the best results
