Exciting new opportunity in our Assurance team, perfect for graduates or professionals at the start of their career

Work and build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally

Flexible hybrid working model: mix of working from our Head Office as well as work-from-home Myer Group is looking for an Ethical Sourcing Coordinator to join the Assurance team to provide essential support to help achieve and promote the company’s ethical sourcing objectives.

The Ethical Sourcing

Coordinator plays a key role in promoting responsible sourcing practices, including assessing social compliance audits, supply chain mapping and traceability, stakeholder training and review and tracking of human rights risks across all Myer Group brands.

About the role

Support the ethical sourcing program framework including reviewing and assessing social compliance audits and supplier self-assessment questionnaires

Support and coordinate post audit remediation and corrective action plans consistent with risks and issues identified in audits

Assess new suppliers via risk profiles and conduct supply chain due diligence ensuring suppliers meet fair labour, human rights and environmental standards

Assist in the mapping of Myer Group’s operations and supply chain

Contribute to human rights risk and impact assessments





Reporting and trend analysis

Assist in facilitating training to internal teams and collaborate with vendors

Special projects related to compliance and ethical sourcing initiatives

Provide support to the Compliance & Risk Manager and ethical sourcing team

About you

Recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in stakeholder management

Experience in compliance, retail and/or manufacturing industry role

Good research and analytical skills and ability to interpret standards and regulations

Effective written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail

Business acumen partnered with an analytical mind, problem solving skills

Proficient Microsoft Excel skills, well-developed computer skills including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Proficiency in Chinese is high desirable
