Cervini Bros Plumbing is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator / Trade Assistant to join our growing team.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Operating excavators and other plant across a range of plumbing, drainage and civil projects
- Excavation and trenching for sewer, stormwater, gas and water services
- Excavating around existing underground services
- Backfilling, site preparation and general earthworks
- Assisting plumbers and other team members with drainage and general site works
- Working as a Trade Assistant when machine operation is not required
- General labouring, material handling and site clean-up
- Assisting with the safe and efficient completion of projects
What We’re Looking For Previous operating experience is a must.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Demonstrated excavator and machinery operating experience
- Experience excavating around existing services highly regarded
- Previous drainage experience highly regarded
- Experience working in tight-access and residential/commercial environments
- White Card
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to work safely and confidently around other trades and machinery
- A good understanding of levels, trenching and excavation practices
- A willingness to get out of the machine and work alongside the rest of the team
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work well within a team
MR/HR licence and additional plant tickets/licences would be advantageous but are not essential.
